Introduction
Dr. Xiong received his Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University ahead of schedule, under the supervision of Prof. Ben Zhong Tang, Prof. Haoke Zhang, and Prof. Jin Zhi Sun, with interdisciplinary supervision by Dr. Jun Qian. In 2022, he joined Prof. Tang’s group at Zhejiang University (admitted with first rank) and began research on aggregation-induced emission (AIE). He has published more than 40 research articles, including 19 first/co-first-authored papers in Nat. Rev. Chem., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem (×2), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (×3), ACS Materials Lett., CCS Chem., Chem. Sci., and related journals. His research interests include materials science, photophysics, photochemistry, and spectroscopic studies of aggregates, as well as computational chemistry on excited-state dynamics. He has delivered 11 oral/invited presentations at international and national conferences and received the Best Oral Presentation award. He is currently a recipient of the Junior Research Fellow Scheme at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
